A string
quartet will add elegance to any wedding
ceremony, cocktail party, or art gallery
opening.
A string quartet typically consists of
2 violins, a viola, and a cello. Other terms
used to describe string quartets are "string
ensembles", "chamber ensembles", "chamber
music", and "classical ensembles".
Some of the
most well known pieces you might hear a string
quartet play at a wedding or private party are
"Canon In D" by Johann Pachelbel, "Air On the G
String" by Johann Sebastian Bach, and excerpts
from "The Four Seasons" by Antonio Vivaldi.
Variations of this include for example a "string
trio" featuring one violin, a viola and a cello,
or a "piano quartet" made up of a piano, a
violin, a viola, and a cello.

new entry is the JPV Jazz Band whose
drummer leader is no one other than a
friend of the family.
SO, we are very
proud to introduce them to you: Sax,
Trumpet, Piano, Double Bass, Drums and
Male and Female Vocals.
You will hear
some jazz classics such as "Night and
day" "All of Me" ... but also classic
Boogie-Woogie or some Soul as the
collection of Ray Charles ("Hallelujah I
Love Her So").
All this is perfectly in
place, flatters ears but also their
music gives you the irresistible urge to
clap your hands and to move your feet!

Gershwin
Gang – Jazz Specialist
This
London based society Jazz trio has a
large repertoire of jazz favourites.
Subscribing to the principle that the
old songs really are the best, the
Manhattan-style jazz trio specialises in
the well-known jazz songs from the 1920s
and 1930s written by the Gershwin
brothers, Cole Porter, Irving Berlin and
others, and made popular by Fred
Astaire, Ella Fitzgerald, Nat King Cole
and Sinatra.
Formed few years ago, the
band's reputation has spread fast. They
have performed at numerous private and
corporate events in UK. |
